Today I attended the rally to save Whalers Way, joining the Port Lincoln community on the steps of Parliament house in Adelaide. Listening to their plight was heart wrenching, hearing about the risk to our Southern Right Whales and other endangered and vulnerable species, flora and the people who live so close to the site posing fire risk and pollution. It’s important to speak up, to write letters to the politician that have the power to make important decisions and respect the small parcels of wilderness that still exist.
